i did get a basic html page to display the link interactivity as the test.html produced by DZC by navigating to it via the same port that the the expression development server was running on

e.g. http://localhost:…/myOwnTest.html

What is the difference between the expression and asp.net internal dev servers and how can I access what expression server has from .net server in VS2008

I suppose i might simply be asking how to I get the multiscaleimage control in my .xaml to access the information stored in the scene.xml.

Worryingly another post by kirupa suggests that this file can only be used by the ‘headlight player’ it references which is an older protocol for the Deep Zoom Composer.

I must have misunderstood this as the idea that interactivity adding by the DZ Composer is only viewable with the DZ Composer seems ridiculous.

Please correct me asap as I only have a short time in which to present a Silverlight/deep Zoom solution or use another approach entirely

Is it possible to access the interactivity added in Deep Zoom Composer while not within Deep Zoom Composer?

I am trying to use the internal and external link interactivity that I added in deep zoom composer within a silverlight application project built in VS2008. After adding the contents of the /ClientBin that Composer exports to the VS2008 project I can load up the correct image(s) but there is no internal or external link interactivity. Outside of VS2008 the preview and test html’s that Composer exports never fully load up the .xap file – they just display the loading animation and ‘100%’.

I just want to be able to associate my Silverlight application’s output .xap with the interactivity I have built into the .xap exported by DZ Composer. This is really frustrating. Apologies if missing something obvious.

default.xap works fine in a Web server
(ASP.Net Development Server, Apache, online or localhost),
but it does not seem to access to GeneratedImages
if I zip GeneratedImages and default.xap
on the Silverlight Streaming host: silverlight.live.com

I’d also like to ask if it’s possible to still use the Internal/External links, Menu and Slideshow options if you are exporting to Seadragon Ajax instead of Silverlight?

I think my officemate Kirupa (from Kirupa.com) answered this question for you :):
You have to use the Default Navigation template instead of the Deep Zoom Classic + source template.

I exported(in deep zoom composer) as:
Output type = “silverlight deep zoom”,
Template = “Deep Zoom Classic + source”.

I have not written any code. Just executed the project created by deep zoom composer. Please let me know where i am going wrong.
