Silverlight TV 49: Creating Rich Interactive Prototypes with SketchFlow – Part 2

Hi again!

The second video has been posted on Silverlight TV which was filmed with John Papa to talk about the SketchFlow features in Expression Blend 4.  Here’s a link to part 1 and part 2 of the series as well as a few links with more info/answers to questions I’ve received via Twitter, comments, and email Smile

- Here’s a link to a blog post about how to add Mockup controls to your Expression Blend Library

- Here’s a zip of the Expression Blend 4 project solution for the WP7 Facebook App from the video

- Here’s a link to the running Silverlight application from the video

- Here’s the chrome image that I used for the background of each screen:

I’ll post a step-by-step tutorial next week for building the Windows Phone 7 Facebook Prototype App that I covered in part 1 and part 2 of this Silverlight TV video series.

Smiles,
Janete

Wow, lol, I did the exact same set up for my WP7 demo and couldn’t figure out for the life of me why my buttons (beneath) the chrome wouldn’t work. HUGE problem as there is nothing I can do about that Z order thing… So now I will create hot mapping buttons where I need them.

I was wondering if it would be possible to have training videos I am doing for a WP7 panoramic mockup… since I don’t have my own blog about this stuff I wouldn’t mind posting the video’s here…

let me know if you’re interested.

but thanks for the video I learned alot.

Question now is that should people who use it go on to use it when it has a trouble with search engines.

    Great post thanks

Wow! Blend is boosting the power of silverlight technology. Support of .Net framework 3.0 for Blend is amazing. We can import photoshop and illustrator work directly to blend and even make the graphics and vectors more eyecatching. Just Amazing!

    HI Janete

I found your broadcasts and demos as really nice. The challenge is that in the new version of Blend Preview for Visual Studio 2012 most of what you mention doesn’t exist in the box. Any chance that you can update with info on how to add the mockups etc to Blend For VS2012

    Regards

    Meir

Based on the dates here, it looks like the world came to an end in 2010. What happened?
