About Janete

Hi everyone!

SunnyPixels.com is a site I created to share a whole lot of what I hope will be awesome things, most of which you will be able to read about on my blog. It’s a work in progress but hopefully you’ll enjoy and/or learn from some of the content :) I hope it becomes more of a conversation, I’ll share…you’ll share…and eventually we’ll know each other so well that we’ll become Facebook friends!

In time I think the blog will give you insight into my interests, learnings, and other random/happy topics I come across. One week I might be talking all work work work, the next week about cool new apps I downloaded on my iPhone 3G Ssssssssss :) One thing’s for sure, expect many many pictures of my adorable golden retriever puppy Texas in quite a bit of my screenshots :)

A little bit about me: I was raised in California/Mexico/Texas, went to Brown University in Providence, RI (class of 2006! :) where I majored in Computer Science. I’m now currently living in the Seattle area working at Microsoft as a Program Manager in the Expression Blend product team(a professional design tool for authoring Silverlight & WPF apps). I find technology absolutely fascinating, everything from good code to a great user experiences in a video game, mobile device, or website :)

When I’m not working I’ll either be dancing, doing yoga, volunteering, visiting family/friends in California whenever I get a chance, taking 1000 pictures, and lately I might even be playing Halo Wars, biking or finding some other way of enjoying what little sunshine the Northwest provides :)

In either case, that’s me and this is SunnyPixels.com….hope you enjoy!

Hello and thank you for the Deep Zoom pages.
I would like to say I was successful, but no way.
DZC creates lots of wonderful folders, but I cannot get the standard navigation to create a web page that works.
The default.axp appears to be the problem as the .axp in the other options, tabbed, Seadragon, standard w/source all create working web pages with my “standard navigation” files.
The web page loads and shows the spinning icon as 100% forever.
    Is there another default.axp?
Your menu page display perfectly, but I just do not know what I am doing wrong. What default.axp are you using?

    DZC V1.0.1927.1
    IE8.0.60001

Thanks and I apologize for bothering you with a problem.

    Carl

Hello and I have figured out what my problem is – was.

The Deep Zoom Composer menu “files” are server side objects and do not display locally.

Once transferred to my web server, they work very well.

    Once again, my apologies.
